Made to Share: On the Green
2024, London UK
Organization and design of pop-up workshop space, part of London Design Festival 2024
Made to Share took over the green in Mansion Square and turned it into a playful workshop space. Our host of artists and designers invited passers-by to slow down, observe small moments around us, and get creative.
Activities included a drawing exercise by illustrator Lewis Danielski asking visitors what they noticed, a mending skill share led by Claire Matthews (because mending together is always better), and badge-making with Olivia Crosby where participants could make a custom badge of something they’d like to carry with them the rest of their day.
The outcome was a wonderful afternoon spent with kids and adults in the neighborhood, where everyone exchanged creative thoughts and memories on a rare sunny Saturday in London.

On the Green is a temporary workshop space where visitors and passers-by can stop and join in activities like drawing, mending, and badge making. Sit, listen in on the conversation, notice what is happening around you, and decide what you’d like to carry with you for the remainder of your day.
Made to Share are a group of friends who met through the Visual Communication programme at the Royal College of Art. Working as a cooperative, they come together as artists, curators, designers, writers, makers and activists to engage in nomadic activity. Their current project is centred on mobilisation and developing tools that support conversation.
