The blanket as an object is one of the most basic forms of shelter, comfort, and protection against the elements.
America is divided over social issues, race, gender, immigration, and the economy. As time goes on it feels like we have forgotten that we all have the same basic needs. This typographic blanket poses questions around how we treat one another as political issues become more polarized and populations of displaced people and animals increase.
